Multiple Phones With VoIP

If you have a VoIP phone system, and you haven’t wired it into your house yet, you should do that first. What you do is plug your VoIP router directly into one of your wall jacks, and then plug in your phones. But, you do need to make sure you go out to the grey telecom box on the side of your house first, and unhook your phone wires from the public telephone system. It’s actually pretty easy, so don’t worry about messing things up too bad….

If you don’t want to do that, then head over to, or and pick up a phone system with one main base unit, and multiple wireless handsets. Each handset will have it’s own base and charger, so all you need to do is plug the main base unit into your VoIP router, and then you’re good to go.
