About SPAM

SPAM is not only annoying, but it is also a serious drain on the resources of ISPs, other organizations, and Internet users.  Sending SPAM Email may seem like a cheap and convenient way to amplify marketing efforts. Responsible businesses rarely employ this questionable marketing tool.  No one wishes to receive unsolicited junk mail. SPAM is considered both an annoyance and an intrusion of privacy. Each SPAM message contributes to Internet pollution and uses up valuable bandwidth.

An Email message does not reach its recipient directly. It is relayed by any number of systems en route until it reaches its final destination. SPAM is often sent out by the thousands to vast numbers of unwitting recipients. This large load of messages often causes network problems and congestion. Third parties are also affected because someone has anonymously pumped half a million messages via the Internet with a simple keystroke.
