I have a few questions about your 3 cent residential plan.
I read in the FAQ’s that the switching fee is reimbursed, how does that work, do I call into customer service and indicate how much the fee is and then they credit my account? Does this credit then have to be used up within a monthly period, or will it stay on my account until it is used?
I also would like to know if paper billing is available without an additional fee. I saw in the terms and conditions it says there is no fee for a paper invoice, but on saveonphone.com it says there is a .99 fee for this. Which is correct? Also, can I pay by check or does the payments have to be made via electronic debit?
Thanks,
Matt
When you sign up for service, you will get a welcome email with TCI’s toll free customer service numbers. When you get your local bill with the switching fee on it, just call customer service and tell them how much it is. If the fee is over $10 they are going to give you a fax number so that you can fax the bill in. Once they have it, they will just credit your account, You will be able to use the amount credited, unless you cancel your account before it is used.
TCI does not charge for a paper bill. You can pay by check, and your first bill will have the mailing address on it. TCI also doesn’t send you a paper bill until you owe at least $2.00. (They don’t charge any fees on that, even if it takes a few months.)
