The popular forensics and legal information channel, Court TV is making its debut on the wireless market. Court TV, owned by Time Warner Inc. and Liberty Media Corp., has signed a deal with SmartVideo Technologies Inc. to offer its content on cell phones. SmartVideo currently offers ABC News, NBC Universal, Fox Sports and The Weather Channel and more to their subscribers.



Court TV feels that the deal will help increase their audience base as well as offering current customers a new way to stay up to date. With this new way of reaching customers, they feel that they will expand their brand to a younger market.

Court TV will be offered on four different subscriber based channels. Live feeds will be available from 10am to 6pm EST. Web clips, trial information and non-live information can be access anytime.
