Apple’s 3GS iPhone – How Good is It Really?

Okay, so Apple’s iPhone is indeed the new standard to which all smart phones are now to be judged, yes, I get that. I understand that Steve Jobs’ Apple Brand is a cult and yield to trying to fight it any longer. And yes, I fully admit this is one bitch’en little personal tech device, and it puts a whole new meaning on the term; “Cell Phone” because this is not just a “cell phone” any more, this is an “I-PHONE” and that’s the new created reality, in the current paradigm of smart phone design. Yes, it is cool.

The camera and video recording features are way better than the Motorola Droid, so, there is absolutely no debate on that, and the phone is completely pretty, sexy, and it’s “way cool” as one X’er exclaimed recently to me. Depending on your reliance on this little high-tech smart phone wonder, you may want to think about the battery longevity, you are going to need charging half way through the day if you are using it to run your business while traveling, but other than that, I’d say this phone gets top billing, after all, it is literally a revolution in smart phone technology.

With a 24-month carrier commitment from AT&T the iPhone is still pretty pricy. Indeed, if I were to personally buy one, I’d really want to upgrade to the 8GB system, which you can add on another $100 smackers. $200 more for the 16GB iPhone which to me is overkill, but what the heck, if you are an early first adopter, what do you care, you want it, and you want it all. Those who own these iPhones love them, myself, I am wondering what comes next. Think on this.
