XFONE has announced that on June 8, 2005 it will commence trading on the American Stock Exchange under the trading symbol "XFN." It is currently listed under the OTC. The approval came from the Exchange Listing Qualifications Panel pursuant to Section 1203(c)(i)(A) of the Amex Company Guide. XFONE met the minimum alternative listing standards.
Guy Nissenson, Chief Executive Officer of XFONE stated, "This marks yet another significant milestone for XFONE. Being welcomed onto the American Stock Exchange is a significant step forward in the full implementation of our business strategy and should help to attract additional institutional and retail interest in our Company and stock."
The approval can be repealed if XFONE is not in compliance with all applicable listing standards by the date of their exchange.
