Lingo Enters New Market

This week, Lingo became the first VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) provider to offer unlimited phone calls to Mexico for a flat rate of $29.95. This plan includes unlimited calling with in the United States and Canada as well. Customers must have a broadband Internet connection for VoIP services to work.

"As the market leader for affordable international VoIP calling services, Lingo is setting another precedent by adding the first unlimited Internet calling plan to Mexico," said Cathy Peterson, director of marketing for Lingo. "Now the U.S. Mexican community, including more than 20 million Mexican Americans, can call family and friends in Mexico and talk on the phone as much as they like with Lingo."

Lingo also offers a universal phone number, allowing the customer to choose their area code or country code based on their calling needs. With this, customers can choose up to two phone numbers a local number and a out of state or out of country number for family members to call them on with only local charges being applied. This allows a person living in the United States to have a Mexico based phone number decreasing charges for a person calling from Mexico.

Lingo now has the edge in overseas calling; especially now with the latest Mexico unlimited calling options. The new Lingo VoIP plan provides members of the U.S. Mexican community, among others, the opportunity to call family and business associates in Mexico as often as they like.

Subscription to Lingo's Unlimited Mexico plan is free for the first month, and $29.95 per month thereafter. The plan includes:
